With twenty years of sourcing the handmade and the one-of-a-kind, we can do for your room, or your wardrobe, what we did for ours: fill it with things that mean something. Three ways to begin, each small enough to try.
Personal styling
$75
Forty-five minutes at Alma among the array of hand made, plant-dyed clothing and accessories. Come as you are, and walk into the world knowing what suits you and why. The whole $75 comes back as credit toward anything you choose to purchase.
Interiors · one room
$150
One hour on one room, by video or at your house within half an hour of Durham. Send photos first. We'll explore what you're craving, where the light falls, what to release, the one object that would change everything. You get our notes in writing the next day.
Curation · room or clothes
$350
Tell us the space or the occasion, and your budget. In a week you get 12 pieces chosen for you, each photographed with its story. Handmade or vintage... nothing from an aisle. Some from Alma, some from makers we trust, none you would have found alone.

If you've been imagining something you can't find, we go looking: makers we know, dealers we trust, the back rooms of the art and antique world. Tell us what you're picturing and we'll write back with how we'd find it and what it would cost. Nothing booked, nothing owed.
